Frequently Asked Questions
If you have any questions about how we do things, please explore our range of frequently asked questions below. However, if we have not been able to answer your query below, please don’t hesitate to give our team a call.
How much does it cost to have a snake relocated?
We offer flat-rate pricing based on the type of service required. All prices include GST:
Standard Reptile Relocation (24/7): $110
Roof Inspection & Relocation (24/7): $165
Business Inspections (24/7): $230
Do you charge more for after-hours or emergency calls?
No. Our prices are fixed 24/7. Whether it’s 2:00 PM or 2:00 AM, the rates listed above remain the same.
What happens if the snake disappears before you arrive?
It happens more often than you’d think. Snakes are naturally shy and will often move on by themselves.
However, once a catcher has been dispatched and is on the way, a call-out/cancellation fee will still apply. This covers the time and travel already committed to your job.
Can I cancel a booking?
Yes, but if the catcher has already been arranged and is on the way, a cancellation fee must be honoured. We always recommend calling us as soon as possible if your situation changes.
What if the snake is in a dangerous or hard-to-reach spot?
Your safety and the snake’s well-being always come first. If our catcher arrives and determines that the situation poses a serious risk to either party, they have the right to decline the job. In these cases, the call-out fee will be waived.
Do you ever harm or kill snakes?
Absolutely not. We do not condone the harming or killing of snakes or any wildlife under any circumstances. Our approach is always humane, respectful, and focused on safe relocation where necessary.
What happens if someone has injured or killed a snake?
If we suspect that a snake has been intentionally harmed or killed, we are legally obligated to report the incident to the Department of Environment, Science & Innovation for further investigation.
Protecting wildlife isn’t just what we do, it’s what we stand for.
Do you offer advice if I’m unsure what to do?
Of course. If you’re not sure whether you need a relocation, feel free to give us a call. We’re always happy to provide guidance and may be able to suggest safe, non-invasive solutions over the phone.
Do you accept private or anonymous calls?
In most cases, private or anonymous calls are not answered. If a call is answered under these conditions, you may be required to pay the call-out fee upfront before we attend the job.
